Before our dearly beloved musician, Adekunle Gold become a star, he had tried his hands on several ‘hustle’ paying jobs, one of which was designing.
A friend of Adekunle’s, Tobbie Maguire @tobbinator, on Twitter, wrote about helping the ace musician secure a designing job that worth hundreds of dollars before the musician hit stardom.
He revealed that Adekunle offered to give him money after the gesture but he declined.
“I remember one day i recommended Adekunle Gold for a design job. I think the pay was in dollars. He kept calling me to say thank you lol. He even offered me a cut. And i think he couldn’t believe it when i said he shouldn’t worry about it. Look at him today.. Favour guys”
Adekunle’s response reads:
“How can I ever forget this tobi? Thanks Man. Forever grateful”
