Abolore Adegbola Adigun Alapomeji Ajifolajifaola, popularly known by his stage name 9ice, is a Nigerian musician.
The music icon hails from the south-westerner part of the country, precisely Ogbomoso in Oyo State, but he grew up in the district of Bariga in Lagos State.
9ice who was born on January 17, 1980, has won the Best Hip Hop Artist at the MTV Africa Music Awards in 2008.
He has also won the third edition of the Hip Hop World Awards held in Nigeria, as well as the Revelation of the Year award and Best Male Vocal Performer.
The Gongo Aso coroner was also nominated at the first SoundCity Music Video Awards in the category of Best New Artist.
9ice, who is the founder of Alapomeji Records shared some pictures on his Instagram account this evening while on a live programme in Galaxy TV.
He wrote: I hail all my fans home and abroad-9ice #galaxypartytime on Galaxy TV.
