Netizens react as court reportedly dismisses Ubi Franklin and Lilian Esoro’s divorce suit
Netizens have reacted to purported reports claiming that a Lagos high court dismissed the divorce suit filed by Nigerian celebrities, Ubi Franklin and Lilian Esoro.
Online platform SDK reported that a reliable source told her that a judge said their reason for wanting a divorce is not valid since Lilian Esoro confirmed that her estranged husband fulfils his moral and financial obligations.
It was further reported that the judge told them to go and settle their differences amicably because they are “only seeking divorce due to childishness”.
SGK said; “the Judge sitting at a high court in Ikeja, held that their that the reason for wanting a divorce is not Valid and said that since Lilian confirmed that Ubi provides for their child and both f them are very god friends, then there is no reason for divorce.
“…she tell them say make Dem go settle their differences say nah small pikin dey worry Dem.
“Nah so Judge take cancel the divorce ooh and everybody inside courtroom burst into laughter oh…”
WuzupNaija cannot ascertain the authenticity of the report, however, the pair had in the past acknowledged their excellent co-parenting skills on their respective Instagram pages.
Meanwhile, Twitter users have begun to express divergent views over the court judgement.
Some also shared hilarious reactions in a bid to make light of the situation.
