Only recently this ex-president of Nigeria was in the news following his statement on the Buhari led administration. He also lashed out at Nigerian lawmakers, and all hell broke loose afterwards.

If he is hated, then it is by the present government as led by President Buhari, as he poses a threat anytime, any day.

3. Rotimi Amaechi

When a man from the South-south joins forces with those from the north, to unseat a government headed by his brother, then he is seen as an infidel.

Rotimi Amaechi’s fight against Goodluck Jonathan made him an enemy to many, his constant battle against Governor Wike of River state has also not endeared him to his people.

2. Rochas Okorocha

The Imo state Governor tends to have fallen out of favour with the Igbo people, as they are of the opinion that he loves associating with the Northerners more than he associates with his own people.

His move to the All Progressive Congress party did not in anyway help his case but rather deepened the hatred of the Igbos .

1. President Muhammadu Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari was seen as a beacon of hope, but the problems in Nigeria have turned many people against him.

Many cannot see the change that was promised and while some Nigerians still believe in him, there are so many that do not believe he will do much. Hence a very drastic drop in his popularity.

Politics is a very serious business not only in Nigeria but the world at large. Nigerians have become very politically aware, and frown at practices that used to be welcomed in the past.

The nation is growing with regards to political issues and it is projected that true democracy would soon take its rightful place in no distant time.
