72 Nigerian ladies arrested in Ghana for prostitution
The Ghana Immigration Service has begun the process of deporting 72 Nigerian women who were nabbed for prostitution.
According to reports, the Nigerians were arrested alongside one Togolese and seven Ghanaians.
However, while the seven Ghanaians will be handed over to the relevant authorities in the West African country, the Nigerians and the Togolese will be deported.

WuzupNaija recalls that according to statistics from the Nigeria High Commission in Accra, Ghana reportedly deported 723 Nigerians within the past 12 months.
The deportees were so accused of indulging in cybercrime, prostitution, illegal residence and unruly public conduct. The deportees were reportedly molested and tortured by officials of the Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) before being thrown out of that country.
