Super Falcons have commenced preparation for the upcoming 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Cape Verde.

The team held a recovery and light training session on Monday night at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja under the guidance of interim head coach Justine Madugu and his assistants.

Additional players are expected to join the training camp on Tuesday as the team intensifies its preparations for the crucial clash with Cape Verde.

The first leg is scheduled to take place at the MKO Abiola National Stadium on Thursday, while the return leg will be played at the Santiago-Estadio Nacional Blue Shark in Praia on December 5.

The overall winner of the two-legged tie will secure a place in the 2024 WAFCON finals, which will be hosted by Morocco.
