Maleek Berry, real name Maleek Shoyebi was born in South London, Britain in 1987. Though he is popularly known as a producer, he is also a recording artiste.

He was influenced by artistes like Tevin Campbell, Boyz II Men, Jodeci and Michael Jackson, artistes he grew up listening to.

A graduate of Computer Science, he taught himself to play the piano in preparation for his career in music.

Around 2009/2010, Maleek teamed up with IKES, a rapper from North London to work on records together. Since then he’s gone on to produce records for some of the hottest UK acts such as S.A.S, Bigz, Scorcher, Jermaine Riley (Formally of FDM) and so on.

He returned to Nigeria in 2011 and has produced several hits ever since. He is currently signed to Wizkid’s Starboy Entertainment label.
