Nigerian rapper, Sodiq Abubakar Yusuf, popularly known by his stage name CDQ, has apologised to recently evicted Big Brother Naija housemate Ifu Ennada over his “one-night stand” comment.

However, the apology post which was shared on his Instagram page on Thursday appeared a little bit bizarre because he still maintained his stand that Ifu was not telling the whole truth.

He said she fabricated the story on National TV and alleged that they only meet once.

He reiterated his earlier statement that if Ifu wanted fame or popularity she should not use an artiste like him as a stepping stone

He ended by saying his reaction was borne out of his need to make her understand that “You don’t play around fire expecting not to sweat”

He wrote,

“To all the beautiful ladies out there I understand how hurtful my clap-back to Ifu Ennada of Big brother Naija was.

“I was just shocked by the fabricated stories she was telling the world while she was on the Big Brother Show.
Mam, God knows we only met once. You did not even know my house neither do I know yours or any of your family.
So I don’t understand where your drama is coming from.

“You don’t take advantage of an artiste with any opportunity u have by fabricating lies because you want to get the world’s attention or pity… We human too and we got feelings.

“My reply was to let u understand “You don’t play around fire expecting not to sweat” #Tunechi ? So biko Ifu-Enada Mabinu mami SayMama ?? Love reigns.”
