It’s a season of excitement for Real Madrid as three of their players swept the best player awards for last season’s UEFA Champions League.

Cristiano Ronaldo carted away the UEFA Champions League Player of the Season, beating Lionel Messi and Gianluigi Buffon to the award.

Also the club’s captain Sergio Ramos won the Defender of the Season Award, having led the team to win three trophies in four seasons.

The Midfielder of the Season title was also clinched by Luka Modric of Real Madrid, while Cristiano Ronaldo was voted Forward of the Season.

Juventus only managed to clinch the Goal Keeper of the Season through Award its goalie, Buffon.
