One of Nigeria commercial bank, Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB), has debunked rumours connecting it to awarding ten thousand naira to University of Nigeria’s Best graduating medical student.
The bank made this revelation via its official twitter account stating that it was the school medical association that had an account with GTB and used their cheque.
I wrote, ” Please know that This donation was not made by GTBank, but by the University of Nigeria Medical Students Association, who made use of leaflet to create a dummy cheque. We congratulate the young woman on her remarkable achievement and wish her the best in all her endeavours.”
