2baba’s brother accuses Natasha of manipulation

Charles Idibia, the younger brother of music legend 2Baba, has made a public appeal to the singer, calling on him to “wake up” and break free from what he described as emotional control by his current partner.

In a long and emotional Instagram post, Charles, who is also known online as Charlybrave, praised his brother as a peaceful and kind-hearted man. He said 2Baba always puts others first, avoids conflict, and stays quiet even when wrongly blamed.

“To the guy who would take losses in several businesses just to avoid any form of confrontation… I beg you today to wake up,” Charles wrote.

However, the post quickly shifted to serious accusations against a woman believed to be 2Baba’s current partner. Charles did not name her, but many fans believe he was referring to Natasha, the woman the singer now lives with after separating from his wife, Annie Idibia.

According to Charles, the woman once broke into 2Baba’s phone, posted pictures pretending to be his wife, and even announced a divorce from Annie on his behalf. He also accused her of cloning 2Baba’s WhatsApp, replying to messages as if she were him, and cutting him off from his management and business contacts.

“She convinced you to abandon your management and businesses in Lagos and move to Abuja,” Charles claimed. He also said the woman had dragged the singer to Benin and other places he would normally not go.

In his words, “A girlfriend who makes you eat your words from a podcast just because you didn’t mention her name… is not a girlfriend but a psychotic fan… a cancerous leech.”

The post came just days after 2Baba stirred controversy by saying men are not designed to have just one partner. He later apologised to Natasha for the statement, which had gone viral.

Fans have raised concerns that 2Baba has been a shadow of himself since his public separation from Annie. He no longer performs actively and has kept a low profile.

Charles, who said he loved his brother deeply, ended the message with a strong plea. “You are in one of those episodes of Crime and Investigation you love to watch,” he said. “I love you. Please wake up.”
