The marriage between Nigerian music veteran Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, and his wife, Natasha Osawaru, has again attracted public attention following reports of an altercation involving the couple outside a nightclub in Abuja.

The reported incident occurred on Friday during the opening of the 90s Lounge nightclub, where a video circulating online appeared to capture the couple in a heated exchange, according to Leadership.

Details surrounding what triggered the confrontation remain unclear. However, one account making the rounds online claimed that Natasha arrived at the venue with some men and waited for TuBaba to show up. According to the account, she approached the singer’s vehicle upon his arrival and demanded to speak with him. While the videos circulating online did not capture her confronting the singer, reports alleged that the encounter caused a commotion outside the club before TuBaba took her inside “in order not to cause a scene”.

It was also gathered that 2Baba and Natasha had allegedly been experiencing difficulties in their relationship and had not seen each other for several months. The singer was further said to have informed Natasha that he was no longer interested in continuing the relationship, although this claim has not been independently verified.

An eyewitness who claimed to have been present at the scene said, “2Face and Natasha haven’t been on good terms for months, and she hasn’t even been able to see him. She heard that the owner of Trukadero was opening a club called 90’s yesterday, so she went there and waited for 2Face. When he finally arrived, she rushed to his car and started making a scene, saying she wanted to see her husband and talk to him.”

The reported development comes against the backdrop of continued public interest in the couple’s relationship, which has remained a subject of discussion since their wedding in July 2025.

The latest episode has further intensified speculation about the condition of their marriage, as social media users continue to interpret the reported confrontation as another indication of possible trouble within the union.
