Popular Nigerian musician Innocent Idibia, also known as 2Baba, attended the Edo State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal in Abuja on Wednesday alongside his lover, Natasha Osawaru.

Osawaru, a legislator representing the Egor Constituency in the Edo State House of Assembly, was present as the tribunal prepared to deliver judgment on the petition filed by the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate, Asuerinme Ighodalo. The petition seeks to nullify the election victory of Governor Monday Okpebholo of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Osawaru, who is the Deputy Majority Leader of the Edo Assembly, was elected on the PDP platform.

2Baba and Natasha’s appearance at the tribunal comes months after the singer announced his separation from his wife, Annie Idibia, in January. His engagement to Natasha in February stirred controversy on social media.

Since then, the musician and the lawmaker have been spotted together at various public events, including shopping outings and social gatherings.
