22-year-old fake soldier arrested in Bauchi, find out what he was up to (photos)

A 22-year-old resident of Maiduguri, Born State, Adamu Alexander, has been arrested by the Nigerian Army 33 Artillery Brigade Headquarters, Bauchi for claiming to be a serving Soldier.

According to the acting Assistant Director, Army Public Relations, Captain Sunday Akinkunmi, Alexander was arrested at the Computer village (container) in Bauchi last Friday while trying to sell a stolen Samsung Galaxy note 5 phone for N70,000.

Akinkunmi added that the suspect was arrested at Container section of the Wunti market in full military regalia.

It was gathered that the stolen phone Alexander was trying to sell at N70,000 was valued at over N250, 000.

The Acting Brigade Spokesman said that Alexander was arrested by military officers based on report made available to the army.
