The Minister of State for Education, Suwaiba Ahmed, has declared that there will be no vacancy in Aso Rock in 2027, asserting that President Bola Tinubu is laying a development blueprint that future generations will appreciate.
Ahmed made this statement in Abuja on Thursday during a courtesy visit to the Tinubu Support Group, where she commended the president’s reform agenda and long-term vision for national transformation.
“He is addressing from the foundation the issues that set the nation back,” the minister said.
“President Tinubu is creating a permanent foundation for our country, and our children and grandchildren will thank him in the future. That is why there is no vacancy in Aso Rock in 2027.”
Ahmed noted that the administration is not relying on superficial solutions, but rather implementing policies aimed at resolving the structural problems that have hindered national progress over the years.
On his part, Director-General of the Tinubu Support Group, Umar Tanko Yakasai, dismissed the newly formed opposition coalition, describing it as a fragile alliance with no political credibility.
“We’re not afraid of the coalition because we have a lot to tell Nigerians. A lot has been done by the Tinubu administration. It is delusional for anyone to think he can take even one bite away from Tinubu,” Yakasai stated.
He accused the opposition figures of attempting to return to power despite their poor records in governance, insisting they lack the moral standing to challenge the current administration.
“These are people we know very well; we know their antecedents and their poor records. We will expose them if they try to rewrite their history of failure while they were in power,” he added.
The TSG further asserted that given Tinubu’s performance so far, Nigerians would continue to stand with him, stressing that any opposition attempt to unseat him in 2027 would collapse under the weight of internal contradictions.
