The Alliance For New Nigeria presidential aspirant, Fela Durotoye, and his wife, Tara, are celebrating their 17th wedding anniversary today.

The lovebirds lovingly expressed how wonderful their marriage has been for the past 17 years and renewed their love with promises to stick together forever.

Tara who is one of Nigeria’s foremost makeup artist and lawyer wrote on her Instagram page.

“17 years ago I walked into Ikoyi Registry with my @tiffanyamberng dress with such excitement for the future with the hope that the marriage will work.

“I was late; saw the frown on your face but was determined to enjoy every minute of the ceremony.

“I still tick you off with these little things I do that drive you up the wall but you know you can’t do without me and as you say sometimes “it’s part of the package “ Dearest Olufela!”You have truly expanded my territory”.

“Taken me places figuratively and in reality that I only imagined. I started calling you “sweet” but realized I needed something deeper.

I thought “SUGAR” was more appropriate. My SUGAR!!!!!!!!!!!! I love this man like kilode.

“You make it soooooooo easy to Love U. Happy Anniversary. “So glad we made it look how far we’ve come, my baby.”

Fela Durotoye also penned a loving message to celebrate his wife. Coincidentally today is also his 47th birthday. He wrote,

“17 YEARS and the HONEY is still flowing on the MOON.
