14th Headies Award: ‘Bella Shmurda can’t even spoke good English’

Cash App singer, Akinbiyi Abiola Ahmed popularly called Bella Shmurda, have Nigerians something to tweet about after his grammatical blunder at the 14th edition of the prestigious The Headies award on Sunday.
The virtual event held in Lagos witnessed fast-rising singers like Fireboy DML scoop the Best R&B Album and the Best Pop awards, Bad Boy Timz – Rookie of the Year award while Omah Lay went away with the Next Rated award.

Unfortunately, the Dangbana Orisa singer who was nominated in the Next Rated category alongside Oxlade, Tems,  lost out to Omah Lay.

However, before the event started, Shmurda was asked what his chances of winning the Next Rated category were while on the Red Carpet and the Moving Fast singer left a statement that caught the eyes of tweeps on the bird app.

”I came here to chill..you know. I came here to do my thing. I didn’t came here for the award. I just came here to vibe,’‘ he responded.
