David Adeleke popularly known by his stage name, Davido, has won the artist of the year award in the ongoing 2018 12th edition of the Headies Awards currently holding at the Eko Convention Centre, Victoria Island Lagos State.

The ‘Fia’ crooner also won Best Pop Single of the year as well as Song of the year awards.

Star Boy Wizkid also won three awards in different categories comprising;  Viewers Choice,  Best Music Video as well as Best R&B and PoP album awards.

Simi was not left out in the big moment as she also bagged awards in the category of Best R&B single, Best Recording of the year and Album of the year.

The 12th Headies Awards which held at the Eko Convention Centre, Victoria Island Lagos had a compilation of music from July 2016 to December 2017 calendar year.

This year’s special edition of the Headies Awards was tagged: the C.A.R.E Edition.
