Nigerian comedian, Abovi Ugboma, also known as Bovi and music star, Oluwaseyi Joshua, popularly known as Seyi Shay, has been unveiled as the host of the 12th edition of the annual Headies award.
The organisers of the award announced the news on their Instagram page with a video.
@the_headies wrote,
“@iamseyishay and @officialbovi Unveiled as the Hosts for the 12th edition of the Headies. #12THHEADIES #HeadiesHosts.”
WuzupNaija earlier reported that the organizers of the Headies, Smooth Promotions, released a full list of nominees for the 2018 Headies Award.
It is the second time Bovi will be hosting the awards while it’s Seyi Shay’s first attempt.
In 2015, the comedian anchored the event alongside dance queen Kafayat ‘Kaffy’ Shafau-Ameh.

The 12th edition of The Headies will hold on May 5, 2018, at Eko Hotel & Suites while the nominees’ party will happen in Abuja on April 28, 2018.
