12 people rescued from collapsed Kano building
At least 12 people were rescued from a collapsed building which was under construction at Kurna Rijiyar Lemon in Dala Local Government Area in Kano State.
This was disclosed in a statement released by Malam Saidu Mohammed, the Kano State Fire Service Spokesman, Malam Saidu Mohammed.
Mohammed said that the building collapsed at about 13:37 p.m., NAN reports.
Mohammed said that the victims sustained serious injuries and were rushed to Waziri Gidado Hospital, Kano.
“The victims,12 of them were trapped under the building after it collapsed.
“They have been rescued and taken to the hospital for treatment because they sustained serious injuries.
“However, the cause of the incident is still under investigation,” Mohammed said.
