Tinubu mourns Enugu senator Ayogu Eze
President Bola Tinubu has expressed his condolences to the Eze family following the demise of Senator Ayogu Eze.
Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, conveyed Tinubu’s sympathies in a statement released on Thursday in Abuja.
Senator Ayogu Eze served as a representative of Enugu North Senatorial Zone in the Senate from 2007 to 2015. During his tenure, he held various significant positions, including Committee Chairman on Information and Media, as well as Chairman of the Committee on Works.
Ngelale noted that President Tinubu also extended his condolences to the friends, associates, and former colleagues of the late Senator, including the National Assembly as a whole.
“Tinubu prayed to God Almighty to grant the soul of the departed repose and comfort to those in mourning,” Ngelale added.
