Police arrest four over murder of retired general in Abuja
The operatives of the police command in Federal Capital Territory have reportedly arrested the killers of the retired Brigadier General Uwem Udokwere who invaded his residence in the Lokogoma area of Abuja.
Sources within the police said the four suspects were arrested in connection to the incident on Saturday around 3 am.
According to the WHISTLER, the source within the police revealed the names of the suspects as Ibrahim Rabiu, Nafil Jamil, Aliyu Abdullahi, and Mohammed Nuhu.
The source said, “They stated that during the armed robbery incident, they murdered the General to prevent him from harm in B them with pistols he brought out to defend himself but couldn’t effectively manipulate it.
“They also confessed to having stolen Laptops and phones, among other valuables, from the deceased’s home.
It was reported that the knife used to stab him was also recovered.
