Hoodlums attacked the Ipaja Police Station in Lagos State, on Monday morning, causing chaos and panic in the area.

The attack led to an exchange of gunshots between the attackers and the police. Some of the hoodlums were reportedly killed during the confrontation.

Details about the attack are still unclear. The Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, has not yet provided any comments as he did not respond to calls.

However, The Nation reports that numerous police reinforcements have been sent to the area to restore order.

Residents reported that the attack created significant panic in the neighborhood.
