Adebayo said the establishment of the call centre will go a long way in addressing daily gridlocks, accidents and other road incidents that contribute to traffic challenges in Lagos.

He added that the initiative would enhance communication between the public and traffic management authorities.

Adebayo said, “The LASTMA call centre will be a state-of-the-art facility, operational 24/7, staffed by trained professionals adept at handling a wide range of traffic-related issues.

“Motorists can contact the call centre via a toll-free dedicated hotline to report traffic incidents, request assistance, or seek information on road conditions including reports on activities of LASTMA Officers.

One of the most significant benefits of the call centre is the ability to report traffic incidents in real-time.”

On Wednesday, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s Special Adviser on Transportation, Sola Giwa, said the Lagos State Government was committed to encouraging modern transportation.
