JAMB to set 2024 admission cut-off marks July 18

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board announced it will hold its policy meeting on July 18 to determine the cut-off marks for 2024 admissions.

This information was revealed in JAMB’s weekly bulletin released on Monday.

The meeting will be chaired by the Minister of Education, Tahir Mamman, and will include other important stakeholders in the education sector.

“These critical stakeholders include Heads of regulatory agencies such as the National University Commission, National Board for Technical Education, National Council for Colleges of Education, Heads of tertiary institutions in the country, and the National Youth Service Corps, among others,” the bulletin read.

At the event, JAMB Registrar Ishaq Oloyede will present reports on this year’s Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination and Direct Entry.

The meeting will also review candidates’ performances in the 2024 UTME, which was held in April.
