FUOYE! Many injured as students, indigenes clash in Ekiti [Photos]

There was trouble in Ekiti State on Tuesday as students of Federal University Oye-Ekiti and indigenes reportedly clashed.
Photos and reports of the incident were shared on Facebook by students and some officials of the university.
One Odebunmi Idowu Id-aluta whose Facebook profile reads National PRO, National Association of Nigerian students, posted photos of injured persons believed to be students of FUOYE and captioned;
“STUDENTS AND INDIGENE CLASHED IN FUOYE.
“THANK GOD NO LIFE LOST BUT MANY STUDENTS SUSTAINED SERIOUS INJURY.
“LET THERE BE PEACE IN FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OYE EKITI.
“NANS NATIONAL PRO STORM OYE EKITI.”
Another Facebook post by Ella Queen reads,
“Thought today is gonna be good, with the weather we had, but it was all another story entirely when it was so close to afternoon. Imagine Fuoye student are now Under serious pressure from the indigenes #strike thing on our peaceful mind# oga ooo.”
