Ayo Edebiri, Idris Elba, others nominated for 2024 Emmy awards

The 2024 Emmy Award nominations have been announced, and many actors, writers, and producers are now aware of their potential for a big career boost.

Nigerian-born, Hollywood star Ayo Edebiri who has dominated this year’s award season is again nominated for outstanding lead actress in a comedy series for her role in “The Bear”.

“The Bear” broke the record for most nominations for a comedy series, with 23 nods, surpassing “30 Rock,” which held the record for 15 years with 22 nominations. In the drama category, “Shogun” leads with 25 nominations.
