Nigerian music sensation Ahmed Ololade, better known as Asake, is set to make a triumphant return to London’s iconic O2 Arena on September 21, 2024.

This performance marks his second appearance at the renowned venue, following a sold-out show in 2023.

The O2 Arena, located in southeast London, is one of the United Kingdom’s premier entertainment venues.

Opening in its current form in 2007, it boasts the third-highest seating capacity of any indoor venue in the UK and was once recognized as the world’s busiest music arena.

The album, supported by hit singles such as “Terminator,” “Peace Be Unto You,” and the “Sungba” remix featuring Burna Boy, broke multiple records and garnered widespread acclaim both in Nigeria and internationally.

Riding on the success of his debut album, Asake embarked on a world tour that included three sold-out shows at London’s O2 Brixton Academy.

However, tragedy struck on the final day of his Brixton Academy performances when a stampede occurred, resulting in two fatalities and forcing the cancellation of the show.

The incident was attributed to individuals attempting to enter without tickets.
