2024 Olympics: Team Nigeria’s full list of sports events
The 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, France, are set to begin in just five days, running from July 26 to August 11, 2024.
Nigeria will be represented by a total of 88 athletes across various sports.

– Football
– Table Tennis
– Taekwondo
– Weightlifting
– Wrestling
Minister of Sports Development, Senator John Owan Enoh, has expressed his hopes for Team Nigeria to surpass its best Olympic performance, which was achieved at the 1996 Atlanta Games. Enoh urged Nigerians to support their athletes throughout the Games.
In a statement by Diana-Mary Nsan, S.A. Media to the Honourable Minister of Sports Development, Enoh said, “Our athletes are putting in tremendous effort and dedication in their preparations. We are confident that with the support of every Nigerian, our team will excel and make the nation proud.”
